Community solar allows businesses and consumers in Maryland to save 5-10% on their electric bills. Maryland passed legislation in 2017 to encourage the development of community solar and other small renewable energy facilities, providing for Shared Net Energy Billing.  This allows you to benefit from the renewable energy produced on a community solar farm.
