MARYLAND COMMUNITY SOLAR LAUNCHES NEW BRAND IDENTITY TO BETTER REFLECT GROWTH AND COMMITMENT TO CORE VALUES

Maryland Community Solar, a leading organization advocating for and providing access to community solar programs for the people of Maryland, is launching a new brand identity to better reflect the organizations growth and commitment to its core values.

After 4 years of helping people understand community solar programs in their state, we felt it was time for a change,” said Alyssa Gavlik, Director of Operations. “Our mission hasn’t changed—we are committed to honest communication, leading by example, caring for others, and advocating for renewable energy. Our new branding highlights our mission, harmonizing our intent and perception.”

The company is focused on educating consumers and businesses about the state’s community solar program and helping them join a local solar farm. This is critical to helping Maryland reach its renewable energy goals, offsetting the rising cost of electricity, and providing for economic growth in communities.

“Over time, our role as trusted educators and community solar guides for consumers, businesses and our communities has really come into focus. We want our brand to represent that trust and reliability,” said Sean Lennon, VP of Sales.

People in Maryland can look out for the company’s new branding as a sign of reliable information on the Internet, on social media, and when you see teams in your neighborhood or working at community events.
